Laparoscopic truncal vagotomy and gastrojejunostomy for the treatment of pyloric stenosis.

Surgery is an important option for treatment of pyloric stenosis which developed as complication of peptic ulcus. Recently widespread use of laparoscopic surgery provide an alternative method of treatment among these patients. In this article we represent laparoscopic truncal vagotomy and gastro jejunostomy operations for treatment of a patient with pyloric stenosis. Patient had return to normal eating habitus and had gain weight after operation.

Pilor Stenozu Tedavisinde Laparoskopik Trunkal Vagotomi ve Gastrojejunostomi

Peptik ülser hastalığı komplikasyonlarından olan pilor stenozunda cerrahi tedavi önemli bir seçenektir. Son yıllarda laparoskopik cerrahinin daha yaygın olarak kullanımasıyla bu hastalara bir tedavi alternatifi oluşturmuştur. Bu makalede yemek sonrası kusma ve kilo kaybı şikayetleri ile başvuran ve pilor stenozu tanısı konulan bir olguya yapılan laparoskopik trunkal vagotomi ve gastrojejunostomi uygulaması tartışılmıştır. Hasta ameliyat sonrası dönemde normal beslenmesine devam edebilmiş ve eski kilosuna ulaşmıştır.
